Molecular hydrogen is studied as a selective antioxidant. A 2007 Nature Medicine study (Ohsawa et al.) found it neutralized the hydroxyl radical, one of the most reactive free radicals, while leaving useful signaling molecules alone. Small human pilot studies have since looked at antioxidant enzymes (Nakao et al., 2010) and exercise recovery (Aoki et al., 2012). Many human studies are still small, so we share the research as it stands.*

What is canned hydrogen water?
It's still drinking water with molecular hydrogen (H2) dissolved into it, sealed in a can so the gas stays in. Boundless hydrogen water comes in 250 mL aluminum cans at three hydrogen levels: 1.6, 1.2 and 0.8 ppm.
Which Boundless hydrogen water should I choose?
Detox (1.6 ppm) is our highest level, for long workdays and study. Sport (1.2 ppm) is for training days. Kids (0.8 ppm) is our gentlest level, for lunchboxes and sports practice. The water, can and zero-sugar recipe are the same.
What does ppm mean on hydrogen water?
Parts per million: milligrams of hydrogen per liter of water. Water at room temperature and normal pressure holds about 1.6 ppm of hydrogen, so Detox is filled right up to that mark.
Why is the hydrogen water in a can instead of a bottle?
Hydrogen is the smallest molecule there is, so it slowly escapes through most plastics. Aluminum keeps it in.
How fast should I drink hydrogen water after opening?
Within about 30 minutes. Hydrogen starts leaving as soon as the can is open, so keep it cold and closed until you're ready, and sip straight from the can.
Does Boundless hydrogen water have sugar or calories?
No. Every can is zero sugar and zero calories, with no sweeteners.
Is hydrogen water carbonated?
No. Fizz comes from carbon dioxide. Hydrogen water is still water, so it tastes clean and flat, like premium still water.
Is Boundless Kids hydrogen water OK for children?
Kids is plain water with molecular hydrogen at our gentlest level, 0.8 ppm, and nothing else: no sugar, sweeteners, preservatives or artificial flavors. If your child has a medical condition, check with your pediatrician.
